She's pure hellfire!!! She's clean, she has good reving noises, and a deeper 27 sounding horn! Almost like half 26 half 27!!! 2711/12 worked Cobh services today, the hybird worked the 1800 to Cobh after taking over from 211... |

2714+13 2722+19 seem to be the regular 2700s on this route, is the single 27 still operating on the Nenagh Branch, tis a long way off an Aclass+widebody parkroyal and steam van. Rgds h g |

I haven't made much observations on the 2700 class lately. I think the single cars are joined up together or forming third cars on double sets. I often saw 2705/06 working the Nenagh route.

What were ya doing down on the Cobh line RG1 we had Limerick based 2705/06 on the Kerry Road all day paired up with 2703/04 she also worked on the Cobh line on Tuesday morning!!! But unfortunatly her spell at Cork was also over at Cork on the 30th she arrived in Mallow at around 8.55 on Tuesday morning with the 8.30 ex.Cork...
Don't mind 2705/06 even we had mk2s on the Kerry road even!!! |

My observation on Sunday 11 November.
2720/21 on the 1950 Ballybrophy - Nenagh - Limerick with about 12 passengers boarding it. I was wondering would it be collecting students from the North west Tipperary towns for Limerick. 2719/22 0945 Ennis to Limerick. and 2055 to Ennis. 2724 on the Limerick Junction shuttle in the morning. |

Sorry for late reply P2@CO...
I haven't actually seen her for ages or 2610/13, they both seem to be after dissapering seemingly I eould have said that maybe 2703/04 is on the Kerry road and still with 2705/06? If that's the case it ould look like 2610/13 have gone to Drogheda for some repairs... In other news Vandels at Glounthaune threw a large rock at he top right door window on 2708... Shatering one of the many panels of the toughened safety glass luckily 2707/08 was declared okay for service and operated the rest of the Cobh-Mallow services this evening... The Gardai were called and questioned a few youths but to no avail unfortunatly... It's a shame that we now maybe a problem has started tonight with this happening for the first incident of this ever happening on the Cobh line... |
