Yeah RG1. 2805 is a beast. Its so loud. Hellfire unit. Check out 2813s set it would give a 22 a run for its money!

Railcar links seem to be all over the place these days. An ESW [8 car 29000] came through Plat 6 in Connolly this morning just about 09h00 heading north!

This mornings 0631 Drogheda Rosslare was worked by a 26/28 combi set. 2605/16 are the 2600s on the set.

Todays Rosslare/Connolly 2807/08/17/18/14/13.
2813+14 are the only set that are the opposite way around in comparison to the rest of the 2800 fleet.The reason is that 2813+14 guage tested lines in a number of areas in the system and arrived back in Dublin the wrong way around.A bit of useless information for anyone wanting to know. |

I wouldn't say its useless info. I noticed that aswell. At least the 2800s are not as bad as the 29000s, they are all over the place! Sets 01, 03, 04, 07, 09, 10, 13, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29 all have the "1" end heading north (ie. 29101). Sets 02, 05, 06, 08, 11, 12, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 all have the "4" end heading north (ie. 29402).
Note: "heading north" on northern line Hope this is of interest to someone....... Regards, GM 160 |

Having being out of service for the last four months 2810&2809 have returned to service.

Welcome back to the pride of the intercity 2800 Fleet 2810!!!
A good evenings gricing today 29004+023 on the 1455 Sligo-Connolly via Newcomen. Then decided to go out on the 1905 Connolly-Sligo via Newcomen with 088 and the MK2 set for 2802 and the 28s back in and up Newcomen absolute Hellfire notch 3 going up then a blast of notch 5 at the top RailcarGricing Heaven!!! Also 2751/09/10 worked the 1035 Limerick-Portlaoise and 1255 Portlaoise-Limerick. Great variety of stuff about today for everyone today!!! Can we have more days like this please???? |
