162 worked light engine at 10:30 from Athlone-Westport arriving there at 12:25 and is to haul back failed loco 077 to Inchicore tomorrow afternoon

As we all know, we had the rare spectacle of two 141s on the RPSI TOur on Friday - 141 & 171. Excellent run!

147 and 175 appeared to have been swopped around again, 147 is now Connolly pilot/ GN+DSE rescue loco

13/05/2009: 147 passed (LE) through Raheny at 1130 this morning, heading for Drogheda. It returned south through Raheny at 1425 (in notch 8!) hauling another failed
071, this time 076. Fantastic sound out of it, and so rare these days on the northern!

Poor ol' 162 misbehaved on her way from Westport to Inchicore and such events can be the excuse for gleeful ignition of acetylene torches. Lets hope she makes it out of the Works on the rails rather than in the back of a truck! |

175 was with DART 8635/36 in platform five in Connolly at 1355 today. I assume bringing the set back from Inchicore. 162 Heuston pilot at 1600. 171 at Inchicore at 1610. Platform4Connolly. |
