Had a browse at the remains of this 8 mile line yesterday. Could access all station except Spa. It's a private residence now and no-one was home. Will re-visit and add them to the collection at a later date. Was surprised that the track was still in situ and exposed at several locations, although 90% of it is buried in undergrowth. The line opened in 1887. Passenger services ceased on the last day of 1934, with the odd excursion from time to time. The line remained open to goods until 1978.
