Thanks to a tip off this evening that two peat trains had just left Derrylea Bog outside Portarlington bound for Edenderry Power Station I dropped what I was doing and headed out to Clonsat Works to try and intercept them. Thankfully I just made it to Clonsat just before the trains reached the Level Crossing (passing Mr. Tip Off heading home after walking the dog!).
After the trains had passed Clonsat I decided to try and get a couple of more photographs further north and found a Level Crossing at Ballaghassaan. After waiting for 10 or so mins LM413 finally came into view, with LM417 following closely behind.
