The Drogheda issue would appear to have been due to the failure (yet again) of the mixed formation 0718 from Drogheda, necessitating the substitution on the 8-car 2900 rostered for the following service.
I believe the reason for the Maynooth disruption was something other than a train failure and that passengers (if any) on an early morning service to Maynooth may have had rather an interesting trip.
