Ireland essentially has just a few TMDs, so ideal to have 'centres of excellence' maintenance depots concentrating on a particular type of train;
Portlaoise Depot 22000s, Drogheda 26/28/29s, Limerick 27s, Inchicore locos. I'm delighted that this policy has taken shape as it achieves better economies
of scale and thus lower costs through easier MRO inventory etc.
Save the route 172. |

0535 Limerick - Heuston and 0910 Heuston - Galway appear to have returned to 2x3 formation. No 6 car set for at least two weeks now.

22000s have been working the former push pull turn on the Waterford line all week the 0730 Waterford and return and the 1505 Waterford and return. The Push
Pull now works the 1710 Athlone during the week and the probably the 1750 Galway on Saturdays as the 1710 goes to Westport on Sundays not a suitable job for a
push pull..

No, it certainly is not.
Bus passengers shouldn't have to ask for a refund ticket. |

One small error, I believe the 1505 Sligo is 2x3 piece on F.O hence the 1305 being a 29000.
1% Railcar levy.....All gricers can now call them their own
